There are so many different and creative ways to gift NJ Lottery Holiday Scratch Offs too – simple stocking stuffers or party favors, create an advent calendar, a gifting tree, ornaments, or do what I did this year and create a wreath.

I thought it would be fun (and super simple) to buy a bunch of the NJ Lottery Holiday Instant Games and use them to create a wreath. And when I say it was simple, I mean it doesn’t get any easier. Plus, it’s festive, fun, and fits right in with the holiday feeling.

Step 1 – Arrange the tickets into a wreath shape.

The hardest part was arranging the tickets into a traditional circular wreath shape. I laid some of the tickets out on the floor and did a dry arrangement just to make sure it looked nice.

Step 2 – Tape the backs together and embellish.

Once I was satisfied with the shape and layout, it was just a matter of taping the backs together and embellishing with a big, beautiful bow on top (you could also put a bow at the bottom instead).

I used a small piece of cardboard behind the bow to hold the top of the wreath together and it also gave me a spot to tape the bow so that I didn’t compromise the front of any of the tickets. I don’t want anyone losing out on potential winnings because of my design.

My parents are big lottery players and my stepdad especially loves instant scratch off games. So when they visit us this holiday, the NJ Instant Lottery Wreath is going to them. It’s a gift I know they’ll love and hopefully they’ll win some money while they’re here!

And even if they don’t win instantly, with the Million Dollar Replay second chance program they can submit all of their non-winning tickets into a yearly drawing for $1,000,000! Now that’s a second chance worth taking.

NJ Lottery Holiday Scratch Offs are available at all brick and mortar lottery retailers (gas stations, corner stores, grocery stores, etc). Even if you’ve never bought lottery tickets before, I’ll bet there’s a lottery retailer closer to you than you think. I didn’t even have to get in the car and just walked a block over to a local corner store to get mine.

  1. the wreath idea is cute! my mom used to always give them to her family and friends as holiday gifts. I feel as tho you can’t go wrong with a scratch off tho. The intentions are good and there. Also hope you give away the big winner!

  2. Our state does not have a lottery so this is really amazing to me! I’ve bought a few tickets while traveling, but never thought using them as gifts or about doing this. I love it!
