Molang Season 2 on DVD + Giveaway | #giveaway #Molang #NCircleEntertainmentMy toddler absolutely loves watching Molang on Disney Jr. and oftentimes she specifically requests to watch it. I suppose it’s a good thing she has season 1 on DVD and now we’ve added season 2 to her collection. Now available from NCircle Entertainment is Molang Season 2, with 52 new short stories – from baking, to golf, to kung fu and more, this pair is doing it all.

I love that at such an early age my daughter can see the relationship between two unlikely friends and how they go about enjoying daily life. It’s so heartwarming to see her laughing at their silly antics. I can only hope she’ll have the same kind of friendship with someone as she grows older. But for now, outgoing Molang and shy Piu Piu are great friendship role models (#friendshipgoals, haha).

Want to share all of the fun with your little ones? Use the giveaway form below to enter to win a Molang Season 2 Prize Pack! Also check out these free printable Molang activity sheets for even more fun.

We’re Going on a Mission #PuppyDogPals

You probably already know that my kids absolutely LOVE Disney Junior. And one of the newer shows, Puppy Dog Pals, has quickly become one of my daughter’s favorites. We are a puppy loving family so it was no surprise to me. So when I learned Puppy Dog Pals was coming to DVD (officially on April 10th), I jumped at the chance to get her a copy.

I tried to hide it for a little while so it would be a surprise, but one day she started going bananas, jumping up and down (or doing her one leg jump since she hasn’t quite mastered jumping), and as soon as I saw that she had the DVD in-hand, I knew exactly why she was so excited. It was immediately, “Watch Bingo and Rolly.”

We're Going on a Mission with the Puppy Dog Pals | #PuppyDogPals #DisneyJunior #DVD

I popped the DVD in and she was quite content for a while, joining Bingo and Rolly on their missions to help their owner, Bob. Day after day Bob has a dilemma of some sort, so Bingo and Rolly make it their mission to fix the dilemma while Bob is away at work. And let me tell you, they take their missions seriously.

From traveling across the world to find the missing pyramids or bringing Bob some sand from Hawaii, to fixing Bob’s beloved plush puppy, Bingo and Rolly are determined to complete every mission. Spoiler alert – they DO accomplish every mission, haha. Sometimes they even pull their “big sister,” Hissy, and other friends along for the adventure.

Puppy Dog Pals will officially hit DVD tomorrow, April 10th, so if you have a little adventure or puppy lover, this would be a nice surprise for them. And check out these fun (and free) printable activity pages, too!

Do your kids like the Puppy Dog Pals?

“Lady and the Tramp” Joins the Walt Disney Signature Collection

One of my favorite things to share with my children, is my love of Disney. As a child I remember my grandma had a collection of original Disney movies on VHS and we loved watching them over and over every time we visited. As time and technology changes, the timelessness of original Disney movies never does, including the story of “Lady and the Tramp.” That’s why it’s the latest addition to my kids’ Disney movie collection.

Who could ever forget the iconic scene in “Lady and the Tramp,” where Lady and Tramp share a plate of spaghetti and an accidental kiss while slurping the same spaghetti noodle? On the Go with Krankz Audio

Let me set the scene for you. You wake up and are getting ready for your day. It may have been a rough morning getting everyone up and going, or even getting yourself somewhat presentable. You’re about to walk out the door. What are those last minute items you grab as you walk out?

If you’re anything like my boyfriend, headphones are a must-have daily accessory and he’s never on the go without his Krankz Audio Classic Wireless Bluetooth Headphones.

~I received a sample to help facilitate this post. As always, opinions are 100% my own.~

No matter how rough your morning has been, the right music will always make it better. Music works the same way as coffee, once it hits your soul, you’re a different person. Around here, daddy has it pretty rough in the mornings.

Getting a 5 year old up and ready for school should be easy, but when your kid just wants to sit on his bed and daydream, it’s not as simple a task as it seems. Not to mention the commute into the city every day for work. So when daddy leaves for the day, you better believe he’s got headphones in hand, ready for that music to hit his soul.

On the Go with Krankz Audio | #KrankzAudio #WirelessHeadphones #BluetoothHeadphones

When he’s on the go, he’s on the go with Krankz Audio. Their Classic Wireless Bluetooth Headphones have been a great addition to my boyfriend’s daily essentials. From how easy they are to connect to the phone, to having no cords attached, and the sound quality is off the charts.

Features:

  • Incredibly clear and powerful sound.
  • Adjustable slider headpiece and conforming earpieces.
  • Collapsible earpieces for more compact travel.
  • Built in microphone.
  • Automatic call notification for easily switching between music audio and phone calls when paired to your smart phone.
  • Easy playback. Instead of digging around for your music player or phone when you want to change a song, or answer a call, use the intuitive headset controls on your ear cup for managing your listening experience.
  • High efficiency rechargeable battery delivers over 45 hours of battery life. Longer battery life means you can listen to your music and talk for hours without interruption. (To recharge your headphones, just plug your Exeo Wireless headphones into any computer or USB port.)
  • Stream audio from your laptop or any other Bluetooth-enabled device, even TV’s, from up to 30 feet away.

Some of the most notable features that can be realized right away is how lightweight and comfortable the headset is. Compared to other headphones he’s tried, my boyfriend really likes that Krankz Audio Wireless Bluetooth Headphones feel lighter. It’s less stress when carrying and even wearing.

On the Go with Krankz Audio | #KrankzAudio #WirelessHeadphones #BluetoothHeadphones

And the earpieces, along with some lining on the inner headpiece, are super soft. Even I’ve had my fair share of headphones that are horribly designed, to the point the earpieces literally hurt my ears. Not these! Krankz can be worn all day without a second thought.

I do want to add, though, that some people may find the earpieces to be a little small. I think it really comes down to personal preference and also the fact that we don’t all have the same size ears. With that being said, the sound quality is still like no other, whether you prefer larger earpieces or not.On the Go with Krankz Audio | #KrankzAudio #WirelessHeadphones #BluetoothHeadphones

The headphones even feature controls on the right earpiece. So when you get to your jam, you know that one song that really gets you going and you could listen to all day, you don’t have to dig around for your phone to listen to it on repeat. Just use the controls on the headphones. There’s nothing like hands-free listening and for my boyfriend, it makes his morning commute on the bus and subway much easier.

On the Go with Krankz Audio | #KrankzAudio #WirelessHeadphones #BluetoothHeadphones

Regularly $129.99, Krankz Audio Classic Wireless Bluetooth Headphones are on sale for $99.99, and worth every penny. These will definitely be ones that last my boyfriend a long while, and they are available in black, red, or white, so you have some variety to choose from. Which color best suites your style?

Are headphones a go-to when you walk out the door?

All Hail the Queen of the Medieval Times Lyndhurst Castle + Giveaway

If you’re a member of the royal court, then you already know that Medieval Times in Lyndhurst, NJ has a new ruler – Queen Dona Maria Isabella. That’s right! For the first time in its 34 year history, a queen rules the land. Along with a new ruler, comes a whole new performance. Have you had the chance to see it yet? I’ve got the chance for you to win 4 tickets!

Today, I want to share some most exciting news. At the passing of the king, his daughter has taken over the kingdom as a firm, yet kind and respected leader. All hail Queen Dona Maria Isabella!

Along with a new ruler, you may expect some changes within the kingdom, and you aren’t wrong. The Medieval Times performance has changed as well, getting quite a few upgrades and instilling more excitement than ever.

All Hail the Queen | #MedievalTimesNJ #MTFan #AllHailtheQueen #giveaway

All Hail the Queen | #MedievalTimesNJ #MTFan #AllHailtheQueen #giveaway

The show still incorporates the favorites, like jousting, horsemanship, swordplay, and of course, the amazing royal 4 course feast. But there’s a whole new storyline, as Queen Isabella takes the thrown. I don’t want to give it all away, but I will say that one of the royal knights seemed a bit rogue. He was out for blood in the tournament and wasn’t giving up for anything.

Making of the new show:

  • New custom-designed and hand-made costumes for both performers and horses.
  • New custom-designed and hand-made suits of armor, shields, helmets.
  • Performers practiced the new show for 3 months, while still performing the previous show.
  • New music and lighting.

Having a Queen as ruler is pretty exciting and is one of my favorite new features of the Medieval Times performance. But aside from that, I have to say I’m really loving the new helmets. They all have such unique features, but my favorite helmets are those of the Green Knight and the Yellow Knight. Excuse my language, but they’re pretty badass.

Being in the stands I wasn’t able to get great shots of the helmets, but check out my favs from Medieval Times Instagram page (be sure to follow them and check out the other new helmets too!).

Skylands Stadium Christmas Lights Show 2017

One of my fondest childhood memories around the holidays was visiting a drive through Christmas lights display. It was something I looked forward to every year, but after moving out of state there wasn’t anything like it around our new home. Now having a family of my own, it’s a tradition I thought would be great to share with my kids.

You may know that we moved to New Jersey just over a year ago and last year I was browsing online and discovered Skylands Stadium Christmas Lights Show. The stadium is over an hour away from our home, so we decided not to go last year. But this year, we got the opportunity to check it out. It may not be the same Christmas lights display I experienced as a child, but it is the perfect way to start this fun tradition with my kids, hour drive or not.

Every year Skylands Stadium, located in Augusta, NJ, puts on a Christmas Lights Show. It’s a 1 mile winding drive through light display, currently showcasing over 2 million lights. Simply drive up to the entrance of the light show, pay the admission ($20 per vehicle Fri.-Sun., $17 Mon.-Thurs.), and you get to drive through the entire lights display with your family.

Most evenings the Christmas Lights Show starts at 4:30pm (about the time the sun sets) and is open until 10 or 11 pm. We arrived at about 6 pm this past Sunday and there was a line to gain admission, but it didn’t take too long to get to the front of the line. As soon as we took care of admission, the lights show started right at the entrance.

The mile long light display is filled with holiday themed characters and trinkets, and fun light animations – Santa Claus, reindeer, snowmen, candy canes, the nativity scene, wreaths, Christmas trees, gifts, and more. My family’s favorite parts were the displays that we could actually drive under and if I had to choose their most favorite, it was the light tunnel at the end of the show. We were literally encapsulated with lights all around.

Skylands Stadium Christmas Lights Show 2017 | #SkylandsStadium #ChristmasLights

Skylands Stadium Christmas Lights Show 2017 | #SkylandsStadium #ChristmasLights

After finishing the Christmas Lights Show, we parked our car and wandered into the Christmas Village, which was filled with various vendors, holiday activities, and goodies. Before actually reaching the Christmas Village we got to walk through Bright Baum Light Forest and Advance Auto Parts Light Tunnel. Bright Baum Light Forest was stunning and lined with white trees lit with white lights. It was very beautiful and makes a great place for a photo opp.

Speaking of photo opps, there are plenty of them in the Christmas Village. Not only can you get your photo taken with Santa (fee required), but there other fun set ups to take photos – with a nutcracker, in a large nativity scene, with animated reindeer and a sleigh, or an 8 foot polar bear right outside the Christmas Village.

As if this wasn’t enough fun and excitement, right outside the Christmas Village you’ll also find an outdoor grill and fire pit for roasting s’mores, as well as the 20′ x 40′ Pompton Sport Center Skating Rink. I have never tried ice skating before and I’m not even a great roller skater, so when my son asked to ice skate I was skeptical. But we gave in and I’m glad we did because he had a blast.

Skylands Stadium Christmas Lights Show 2017 | #SkylandsStadium #ChristmasLights

At first he stayed around the outer skirt of the rink so he could hold onto the fence, but after gaining some confidence he found his way to the middle, enjoying every minute of it. Besides the lights show, I think ice skating is what he’ll remember most about our visit.

There’s still time this holiday season to check out the Skylands Stadium Christmas Lights Show. It’s open every night through December 30th, with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The Christmas Village is only open through December 23rd.

Skylands Stadium Frozen in Ice

If you can’t make it to the Christmas Lights Show, the Frozen in Ice Wild West Ice Sculpture Extravaganza starts January 27th. It will be filled with over 100 tons of ice used for ice sculptures and more. Take a ride down the ice slide or try to find your way through life-sized ice maze. It’s sure to be more family-filled fun!

What is a childhood holiday tradition you share with your kids?

Identity Games for Even the Youngest Game Lovers

My kids enjoy sitting down to play games and can get pretty competitive (nobody likes to lose), but sometimes it can be a little difficult to find games that are well-suited for their ages and abilities. That’s what I love about Identity Games! They offer fun, and sometimes pretty quirky, games to suit all ages.

My kids are currently ages 5 and 2, so when it comes to games there’s only so much they can really understand. Obviously, strategy type games or those that have a ton of rules, just don’t work for them right now. But the games Find It and Elmo’s World Hide and Seek from Identity Games are perfect for their ages.

Identity Games for Even the Youngest Game Lovers | #IdentityGames #giftidea #HolidayGiftGuide

Find It is like a portable treasure hunt (yay for games that can be taken on the go!), where you have to find 40 items hidden inside a tube of colorful pellets. There’s no opening the tube during game play, so to find the objects you have to spin, twist, and shake the container, moving the pellets around and uncovering the hidden objects.

You may see an object one minute, but be looking for something else. And then you have to find the object you JUST saw, but from all the spinning, twisting, and shaking you just did to find the other one, the object has disappeared once again into the pellets.

Find It is a great game for my 5 year old, especially when I need a break from him running amuck throughout the house. I can give him the game and he’ll sit in one spot searching for the hidden objects.  And I already mentioned it’s great for on the go. Think road trips, waiting rooms, restaurants, etc.

Making the game even more fun are the different versions available.

  • Where’s Waldo?
  • Mythical Creatures
  • Discover America
  • Eww Gross!
  • Pirates
  • Sesame Street
  • Original
  • Kids
  • Glitz and Glamour
  • Wildlife (this is the one my son has)
  • At the Beach
  • Starry Night
  • Dinosaurs
  • Christmas Santa
  • Captain Underpants
  • Elf on the Shelf

And more!

Identity Games for Even the Youngest Game Lovers | #IdentityGames #giftidea #HolidayGiftGuideAs for my 2 year old, she has fallen in love with Elmo’s World Hide and Seek. Hide and seek was always a favorite game of mine as a kid, but if you can play it with Elmo, just imagine how much more fun it would be!

Identity Games for Even the Youngest Game Lovers | #IdentityGames #giftidea #HolidayGiftGuideOne of the older players (or a parent) hides the little Elmo character, and using clue cards the other players have 10 minutes to find Elmo. In addition to the hints on the clue cards, Elmo chirps out his own hints while hiding, making this game great for smaller kids like my daughter. She may not understand all of the clues, but she can listen for where Elmo is.

Making Time's 2017 Holiday Gift Guide is in the works and this is your opportunity to gain holiday exposure. Spots will fill up fast so contact me today! #HolidayGiftGuide #HGG #giftideasBoth Find It and Elmo’s World Hide and Seek are great holiday gift ideas for kids, and at $19.99 they’re affordable too!

Get your engines revved because “Cars 3” is cruising home in Digital HD, today (October 24th)! I’ve been a “Cars” fan since day one and the recent release of “Cars 3” is no exception. Even my kids have come to love Lightning McQueen and his crew.

Without giving the movie away, in case you haven’t seen it yet, my favorite thing is all of the new characters we get to meet. And yes, the classic characters make their big screen appearances too (it just wouldn’t be right without Mater). But it’s the new characters, like Cruz Ramirez, Jackson Storm, and Miss Fritter that make the movie so much more fun.

I will tell you that this time around, Lighting finds himself pushed out of racing by a new generation of faster and younger cars (oh, the joys of growing older), and goes on a journey to discover where he belongs in this new type of high-octane competition. You might be surprised at where he ends up, but I guarantee you certainly won’t be disappointed.
