“Schoooooooools out for the summer!” Okay, maybe not quite yet, but summer will be here before we know it. And it’s never too soon to start planning fun activities, right?

One of my favorite (and cheap) activities to enjoy with my kids is the Summer Movie Express by Regal Cinemas. Every Tuesday and Wednesday, various movie theaters show some of the year’s best family movies. The best part is admission is just $1/person! Now that’s something I can afford.

You’ll need to check your theater’s schedule because the dates vary by state and region, all depending on when school is officially out for summer and when it starts back up next year.

As if the cheap admission wasn’t great enough, a portion of all ticket sales goes to the Will Rogers Institute, too!

Making Time for Summer Fun: $1 Summer Movie Express

Regal Cinemas is offering $1 family-friendly movies all summer long, with their Summer Movie Express.

Although back to school shopping has already started for some, summer still isn’t over.  There’s still plenty of time to enjoy some summer fun before school actually starts!

Did you know that Regal Cinemas has a Summer Movie Express and is offering $1 family movie days all summer?  If not, you’ve definitely been missing out.  Every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am-12pm, Regal Cinemas is showing two family-friendly movies, and admission is only $1 per person!

There are still three weeks left to enjoy this super fun deal.  This week (July 26th and July 27th), the movie choices are The Book of Life or Hotel Transylvania 2.  Both movies start at 10am on both days, so you can see one movie on Tuesday and the other on Wednesday, if you wanted to.  Or you can visit one of these days and choose which one of the movies you’d like to see.

How fun is this?  It’s perfect for getting the kids out of the house and spending a few hours watching cool movies.  Even if they’ve seen the movie before, it’s a whole different experience seeing it in a movie theater.  Plus, a portion of the $1 admission cost goes to help benefit the Will Rogers Institute.

My son absolutely loves Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 and watches it over and over and over.  I’ll definitely be taking him to the movie theater next week to see that one!
