Snack Time with Gerber Lil’ Beanies

Gerber Lil' Beanies are a nutritious, yet tasty snack your toddler will love! Learn how to save $0.75 when you buy them at Publix! #GerberWinWin @Gerber

Snack time in my house could very well be my kids’ favorite time of day. They run ragged all day, so when snack time rolls around they’re more than ready to be refueled. My toddler now thinks she can eat everything her older brother does and she certainly wants to.

The problem is that he’s such a picky eater to begin with and only eats certain foods – junk foods (hopefully he’ll grow out of this stage soon). So while my toddler may be able to handle the consistency of some of the foods her older brother eats, they’re not the healthiest foods for her.

One of my son’s favorite snacks is cheese puffs and it’s also a snack my daughter enjoys as well. Definitely tasty (who doesn’t like cheese puffs?), but certainly not very healthy.

Beep, beep! My mom’s saving $0.75 on Gerber Lil’ Beanies, my favorite snack!

Luckily, Gerber Lil’ Beanies is the perfect substitute for my toddler. They may not have the exact same cheesy taste as cheese puffs, but they have the same consistency and their very own delicious taste.

The best part? They are so much healthier for her and she loves them! It’s a win-win for both of us!

Mom, do you think 3 is enough?

Made from navy beans, Gerber Lil’ Beanies are a baked bean-based snack (say that 3 times fast, haha) that provide 2 grams of protein, 1 gram of fiber and 10% the daily value of Vitamin E, per serving.

Ooooh, here comes another mom and her kids! Tell her how to save on Gerber Lil’ Beanies!

And with two available flavors, Original and White Cheddar Broccoli, you’re toddler will surely enjoy one or the other, if not both. My daughter loves the White Cheddar Broccoli Lil’Beanies and when we visited our local Publix last week to pick some up, she couldn’t even wait until we got home to dig in!

Not only do I prefer my daughter to enjoy Gerber Lil’ Beanies as a snack over cheese puffs, I also like that they’re very affordable. Publix has them for just $2.00 each and to make it an even better deal, Ibotta is offering a $0.75 rebate! So if your toddler hasn’t yet tried Gerber Lil’ Beanies, now is the perfect time to head to your local Publix and pick some up.

Just look at my daughter! The other day I realized she had gotten kind of quiet and when little ones get quiet you know that normally means they’re up to no good. I looked around and found her sitting under the table with one of her Gerber Lil’ Beanies snacks.

I guess she was making time for her own snack break. This is definitely the type of quiet I can get used to! Now I just need to work on my picky eater of a son.

Which Gerber Lil’ Beanies flavor do you think your toddler will enjoy?

#SharetheLuv with Double the Savings on Luvs Diapers

There are two upcoming opportunities to save on Luvs diapers. Check your Sunday newspaper on September 25th and October 9th for a $2 Luvs coupon on both days! That's double the savings! #SharetheLuv

This review was made possible by iConnect and Luvs.  I was provided compensation to facilitate this post, but all opinions stated are 100% mine.

There is no question that buying for baby’s everyday needs can get pretty expensive. Just yesterday I went grocery shopping and purchased almost 60 jars of baby food. 60! Adding diapers into the mix, which I also bought yesterday, the register total just kept climbing.

We are basically a one income household so when I buy everyday essentials for the family, I do anything and everything I can to save money. Where I save the most money is by couponing and I always make time to browse for relevant savings. Whether it’s adding electronic coupons to a store card, printing online coupons, or clipping coupons from the Sunday paper, coupons are a really big help in sticking to my budget.

There are two upcoming opportunities to save on Luvs diapers. Check your Sunday newspaper on September 25th and October 9th for a $2 Luvs coupon on both days! That's double the savings! #SharetheLuv

And if there’s one type of coupon that I love the most, it’s diaper coupons. There’s no getting out of purchasing diapers, no matter how much they cost. And as far as diaper coupons go, I get really excited when they’re for diaper brands I love and trust, like Luvs.

Why I choose Luvs diapers:

  • Contour to my little one’s curves and movements throughout her daily activities.
  • Nice snug fit without compromising softness and comfort.
  • Large, refastenable stretch tabs make for easy, yet secure fastening.
  • Super Absorbent Leakguards and NightLock Plus lock away and absorb more wetness than regular Luvs, ensuring we both get a good night’s sleep.
  • Luvs offers a Money Back Guarantee if at any point I’m dissatisfied with leakage protection.
  • I save up to $150 annually, compared to other leading diaper brands, and this doesn’t include any additional coupon savings.

Now for the exciting news! In the Sunday newspaper on September 25th, you can expect a $2 coupon valid on any one package of Luvs diapers. But that’s not all! Again on October 9th, there’s going to be another $2 coupon for the same thing! Woohoo! Bring on double the savings! The couponer in me is doing a little happy dance in anticipation of these newspapers coming.

Many diaper coupons have restrictions as far as the size you have to purchase, but in this case the only restriction is that they can’t be used on trial/travel size. That means you can use these coupons on a large box of Luvs or even one of the smaller packages. And just a heads up, each coupon is valid for 2 weeks so don’t let them expire! I sure won’t!

Barbie Dolls Just $3.99 at Target

It's never too early to start gift shopping for the holidays and Target has Barbie Fashionistas for just $3.99! This is definitely a stock up deal for the upcoming holidays! #Barbie #savingmoney

With gift giving holidays right around the corner, I am on the lookout for some good deals. And that’s exactly what I came across on Barbie Dolls today at Target!

I was originally heading into Target for something else, but in true Target fashion I couldn’t leave the store without a cart full of stuff. I noticed earlier today, while browsing Target’s Cartwheel app, that there was an offer for 50% off Barbie Fashionistas Dolls.

It's never too early to start gift shopping for the holidays and Target has Barbie Fashionistas for just $3.99! This is definitely a stock up deal for the upcoming holidays! #Barbie #savingmoney

Usually when Cartwheel has such a large percentage off, the product is pretty expensive, but I thought I’d make time to head to the toy department just to see. I mean, 50% off is a great deal. Expecting them to be around $20 or so, I was surprised to find these Barbie’s to be just $7.99 regular price at my Target store!

It's never too early to start gift shopping for the holidays and Target has Barbie Fashionistas for just $3.99! This is definitely a stock up deal for the upcoming holidays! #Barbie #savingmoney

You probably know that I have a daughter and even though she’s not into Barbie’s quite yet (she just turned 1), it doesn’t hurt to stock up early. They would be great for future birthdays, Christmas gifts or even just a reward for being the amazing person she is.

So after using the 50% off offer, I got 4 of these dolls for just $3.99 each! What a deal?!

If you have any girls in the family who love Barbie’s, I highly suggest getting to your Target store as soon as possible and getting this deal. It’s only Tuesday, but my store had already been picked over and half of these particular Barbie’s were already gone from the shelves. The offer is valid through September 24th, but I wouldn’t take any chances on waiting that long.

How to get the deal:

  • Download the Cartwheel app.
  • Add the Barbie Fashionistas offer to your Cartwheel.
  • Purchase 4 of the Barbie Fashionistas.
    • Limit 4 per Cartwheel offer per transaction. If you want more than 4 you can do a separate transaction. You can also purchase less than 4, but I like to get the savings when they’re available.
    • Must be the single Barbie Fashionistas dolls.
    • Ken Fashionistas dolls are included in the offer.
  • At checkout, have the cashier scan your Cartwheel barcode and the discount will come off.

As most parents have been doing lately, back to school shopping has been on my to-do list. Some of my favorite stores I like to shop at for my son’s clothes include Kohl’s and JCPenney. And the reason I like shopping at these stores isn’t just because they have clothes he likes, but because they ALWAYS have sales and coupons running. I love saving money!

Just yesterday we visited JCPenney, but of course I had forgotten to check for any store coupons before we left home. Groupon Coupons saved my butt and I actually scored some nice savings.

While shopping in the store I opened my Groupon app, went to the coupon section and searched for JCPenney. And what did I find? A coupon for $10 off a $50+ purchase of kids’ apparel and accessories. Score! I chose the in-store option and it enlarged the coupon for me. At checkout I just showed the cashier the coupon on my phone and the savings came right off.

There’s no more need to browse individual store websites to see if they have any active coupons. Groupon Coupons is all you need!

Have you ever used Groupon Coupons?

Making Time for Real Necessities

Making Time for Real Necessities: Could you live without a microwave?

When I sit and think about it, there are so many things in my life that I take for granted.  And not just people or the ability to do certain things, but I’m talking about having clean running water, or having food in my fridge to provide for my family.  Ya know, real necessities of living.

Recently, we had to get rid of an everyday appliance that was no longer working and I immediately thought – well, what the heck am I going to do now?  I use this appliance for so much and NEED it.  At the time we didn’t have the means to just run out and replace the appliance right away, and now I’m actually glad we didn’t.  Why?  Because it’s not really a necessity for us.

You’re probably wondering what the appliance was, right?  It was our microwave.  One night while using it, something sparked in the back and from that point on it would operate, but wouldn’t heat anything.  No need to let it sit and collect dust, so we tossed it.  The counter now looks completely different without the large heating box, but cleaner and less cluttered nonetheless.

Making Time for Real Necessities: Could you live without a microwave?

But, oh my gosh, what was I going to do?  How was I going to heat our morning oatmeal?  How was I going to heat leftovers from the night before?  How was I going to pop popcorn for family movie night?  I didn’t know at the time, but I don’t need a microwave to do any of this.

My whole life I’ve had the privilege of owning a microwave and never had to do these things the “hard way.”  But if you really want something, you’ll find a way to get it done.

For our morning oatmeal, I heat a pot of water on the stove and just add the hot water to our instant oatmeal.  Or if I’m in a hurry I can use our Keurig for hot water (probably another appliance I could live without, but I’m not ready to give up my quick and easy coffee quite yet).  To heat leftovers, I simply toss them in a frying pan with a little non-stick spray or some things I reheat in the oven.  Popcorn?  I can do that in a pot on the stove, too.

So now I’ve thought to myself, do we really need a microwave?  Nope!  Now, if the stove and oven stop working, that’s another story.  I can’t do wood burning anything in our apartment, haha.

I took for granted having the microwave for so long.  There’s no doubt it made certain tasks quicker and easier, but now I realize it’s not a necessity in our lives.  And while it’s nice to have one, we aren’t looking to purchase a new microwave anytime soon.

Could you/do you live without a microwave?

As a single income family, we do our best to make the most out of our money.  So when I see an amazing deal on products or services my family uses, I jump at the chance to get them at a discount.

This week I found one of the best deals I’ve seen in a really long time and it’s on SoCozy Boing/Curl products for kids.  If you’ve seen my son pictured in other posts, you know he has a full head of curly hair (he’s 4 y/o and we’ve never cut his hair).  To be honest, it can be pretty hard to manage, but the SoCozy brand has been one of the hair care products for kids that has helped me keep his mane under control.

I couldn’t contain my excitement when I discovered an amazing deal on their Boing/Curl products at Target this week and rushed in to cash in on the deal.  I was able to score SoCozy’s Curl Shampoo and Conditioner for just $1.50 per bottle when it’s normally $11.99!

Deal Breakdown:

That’s just $1.50 per item!  You can also get the SoCozy Boing Curl Gel-Cream for $1.50 using the same discounts.  Unfortunately, my local Target doesn’t sell the gel-cream so I wasn’t able to cash in on that product, but I’m still uber excited about the shampoo and conditioner.

Making Time to Declutter with a Yard Sale

Follow these 10 tips and you're sure to have a successful yard sale.

One of my goals this year has been to really clean up my home and get rid of anything that isn’t needed or simply doesn’t get used.  When things get over cluttered and I don’t feel comfortable in my own home anymore, I know it’s time to get rid of stuff.  This year it was definitely time to do this.

So this past Saturday my family held a yard sale to clear our home of all the clutter.  This certainly isn’t our first yard sale and surely won’t be our last, but after having a number of yard sales in the past, we’ve learned a few things about having a successful one.  And by successful I mean one that truly gets rid of the clutter and also puts a nice chunk of change in our wallet.

Follow these 10 essential tips and you’re sure to have a successful yard sale of your own.

1. Prepare

Preparing is essential to having a successful yard sale.  Weeks and maybe even months before you plan to have a yard sale, you need to start gathering items you want to sell.  If you really want to declutter, you should go through all drawers, closets, cabinets and even the garage.  There may even be items sitting displayed around the home that you really don’t want anymore, but since they’re already displayed, you just left them be.  Now is the time to let them go.

2. Organize

Once you’ve done your preliminary preparation in the months and weeks beforehand, you’ll want to organize everything at least a few days before the big sale.  Separate kids clothes and items, from adult clothes and items.  Have nicer clothing you want to hang for display/attention?  Put them on hangers and have them ready.  Keep all breakables together and then all miscellaneous items together.

Follow these 10 tips and you're sure to have a successful yard sale.

Keeping like items together and having an organized set up is an indication to buyers that you take care of your items.  Who wouldn’t prefer an organized home?  The same thing translates to a yard sale.

Organizing beforehand will make things much easier for you when yard sale day arrives.  You can simply pull like items out and place them on a table together, and because you’ve organized beforehand, it will save you time the morning of the yard sale.

3. Place items for attention

Placing larger yard sale items near the street will draw attention to your yard sale.  Things like furniture, strollers, baby swings, comforter sets, lamps, ceiling fans, washers, dryers, anything on the large side, will be eye catching for passersby and are likely to cause people to stop.

Follow these 10 tips and you're sure to have a successful yard sale.

Another great way to catch someone’s attention is to hang nicer clothing (like those still with tags attached or flashy in-style items) on the garage or up towards the house.  Make buyers walk up towards the home so that they have to walk by everything else.  It almost forces them to browse everything else you have, just because they want to see what that item is that’s hanging up.  Don’t have a garage?  Tie a line between 2 trees and hang some clothes from it.

4. Price appropriately

Keep in mind this is a yard sale.  You want to get rid of unwanted stuff and yard sale goers want to get a good deal.  Don’t price things at retail or even resale.  If you price low (priced to go) you’ll sale a lot more and make more money overall.  I’m not saying give your stuff away, but price things reasonably for a yard sale.

Follow these 10 tips and you're sure to have a successful yard sale.

Some of the prices we used were:

  • Used baby clothing – 2 pieces for $1
  • Used adult clothing – $1 per piece
  • Cups/dishes – $0.25 each
  • Picture frames – $1 each

If you have clothing or other items that are sets, price them as a set so buyers don’t have the option to separate them.  For example, I had tons of baby outfits that were complete 2 or 3 piece sets.  I placed them each in a Ziploc bag and priced them for $2 or $3, rather than 2/$1.  Or for items that still have tags attached or have never been taken out of their package, price them a little higher than your used items, but still reasonable for a yard sale.

I had a woman come looking specifically for baby clothes and she literally bought every single baby clothing item I had.  She got a ton of great stuff and I made about $100 just on baby clothes!

5. Negotiate

Even if you mark prices on your items, yard sale goers are always looking for the best deal they can get.  Be prepared for offers less than you’ve marked or even lesser offers on bundles of items.  It’s up to you whether to accept an offer or not, but I say it’s always nice to let buyers have a bundle deal, one that works for both you and the buyer.

6. Donate

If the goal of having a yard sale is to declutter your home, don’t take anything you’re trying to sell back inside, even if you don’t sell it.  When the yard sale is over, load up whatever is left and take it straight to a donation center.

Follow these 10 tips and you're sure to have a successful yard sale.

Keeping in mind that everything you don’t sell is going to be donated, 2-3 hours before you plan to end the yard sale, reduce your prices.  Most buyers arrive early in the morning so they can get first pick of what you’re selling, so traffic will slow down later in the day.  But if you reduce your prices, the sales will keep rolling in.  In fact, some buyers will come in the morning for first pick and then return later in the day to see what’s left at reduced prices.

We changed our adult clothing price from $1 per piece to $0.50 per piece, at about 3 hours before the end of the yard sale, and we were able to keep selling right up until the end.  This helped put a little more money in our pockets and also created less stuff that we had to haul to our local donation center after the yard sale.

7. Start Early

Be prepared to start super early.  Yard sale goers will start arriving as soon as daylight hits.  Get up about 2 hours earlier than sunrise and start getting your items out and ready for buyers.  No matter how early we start, we’re usually still putting items out at least an hour after buyers start arriving.  And keep in mind that most sales occur earlier in the day, so the more you have out, the more sells you’re going to make.

8. Invite a friend

The more stuff you have to offer at a yard sale, the more successful it’s going to be because there’s more to attract buyers.  Inviting a friend or family member to join your yard sale and sale items of their own, will not only help both of you declutter, but it will provide a larger variety of items for buyers to choose from.  If you’re up to it, maybe even try making it a neighborhood sale.

9. Advertise

If you don’t advertise your yard sale, people won’t know about it.  It’s not necessary to advertise a week ahead of time and it really only takes 1-2 days.  If you live in an area where there’s not a lot of traffic, then you may want to put some signs up 2 days before.  On the other hand, if you live in a high traffic area, simply put up some signs the afternoon before the yard sale.  It’s ideal to advertise by at least 2 or 3 pm the day before your yard sale.  That way, evening traffic heading home from work will get the chance to see your signs.

Follow these 10 tips and you're sure to have a successful yard sale.

Be sure to advertise at busy intersections and especially at the end of your street.  You have to guide buyers to your home with your signs.  Elaborate signs aren’t necessary, but just make sure your signs are visible to drivers.  We usually have a few weather proof signs and then a few homemade posters.

10. Offer free cold water

In general, most yard sales are in the summer time and that means hot weather.  It’s something simple, but offering free cold water to yard sale goers is a nice gesture.  Fill a cooler with ice and bottles of water, and offer it to buyers as they pay.  Not everyone will accept, but those who do will certainly appreciate the offer.  This was the first year we tried this and noticed that after providing water, a lot of buyers went back to look some more and many bought more stuff.

Follow these 10 tips and you're sure to have a successful yard sale.

Put these 10 tips to use and you will definitely have a successful yard sale.  You can easily make upwards of a few hundred dollars in just a matter of hours.  This past weekend we got up at 5 am to be ready for buyers at 7 am.  When things slowed at about 1:30 pm, we took down our signs/advertising and loaded up everything that was left, to take to our local donation center.  In just that short amount of time we made over $600!  I’d say that’s a pretty nice payoff and icing on the cake after the benefit of decluttering our home.

*These tips are ones that personally work for me, but may not work for all.  I am only sharing my own experiences and opinions are 100% my own.  Please see this blog’s full policies and disclosure here.

Making Time for Affordable Fresh Produce

There's no need to empty your wallet to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables. Check out these 5 ways to save money on fresh produce!

It can be very hard to find fresh produce at a decent price.  I remember countless grocery shopping trips where I’d buy just a few pieces of fresh fruits and vegetables, but spend $30+.  It’s no wonder I have some weight to lose.  I’d oftentimes forego fresh produce just so that I could afford all of my groceries and be able to eat for more than a day or two.

That has all changed for me in the recent year because I’ve found places in my local area that carry amazingly fresh and tasty fruits and vegetables, at an even more amazing and affordable price.

So without further ado, here are 5 ways I have found that are great for saving money on fresh produce.

1.  Grow your own garden.

Okay, so this probably seems like a no brainer, but I thought I’d throw it out there.  I remember as a child we designated a large portion of our backyard to grow a vegetable garden.  We grew potatoes, tomatoes, green beans, okra, squash and corn, that I can remember.

And I’m talking this garden was pretty big.  Even as a child I remember using a hand-driven machine to till the land and then all the hard work and labor that went into planting, watering and picking everything.

There's no need to empty your wallet to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables. Check out these 5 ways to save money on fresh produce!

Growing a garden is hard work, but if you grow only what you can manage, it’s definitely doable and saves a lot of money.  I don’t personally have my own vegetable garden now because I live in an apartment, but I hope to one day be able to grow one.  Until then I have to do some research on what I can grow in containers on my balcony and jealously admire everyone else’s Facebook pictures of their own garden goodies.

2.  Local farmer’s market.

A farmer’s market is where I first found fresh produce at a good price.  When I think of a farmer’s market, I picture something that’s outdoors with various stands where people sell whatever fresh produce they grow themselves.

Since moving to Miami, I’ve discovered that not all farmer’s markets live up to my preconceived notion.  There is a small, but great indoor farmer’s market not too far from me.  It’s literally just a small store.  Nothing fancy, but just a location that has a farmer’s market feel and smell, and sells nothing but produce that’s very fresh and pretty affordable.

My first great find at my local farmer’s market was pineapples.  At a regular grocery store a whole fresh pineapple will run me anywhere from $3.99 on sale to maybe $5.99+ at regular price.  At my farmer’s market, they had them for just $2.50!  That is a pretty big difference in price if you ask me.

3.  Flea market.

This one may not really be on your radar when it comes to fresh produce, but a lot of flea markets have stands that carry nothing but fruits and vegetables.  There’s one flea market, in particular, in my mother’s area that we visit occasionally while visiting her house.

There's no need to empty your wallet to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables. Check out these 5 ways to save money on fresh produce!

The fruit and vegetables are sold in some sort of medium sized, open containers, in which the produce is stacked up and over the container as high as a stack can go without falling over.  Depending on the size of the fruits and vegetables, I can purchase 6-7 nice sized tomatoes or 6-7 squash/zucchini for just a couple of dollars.

4.  Small local grocery stores.

This has recently become my absolute favorite way to save on produce.  If you have an Aldi store in your area and haven’t visited yet, you are surely missing out.  You may have to bring your own bags and have a quarter on hand to use a buggy (cart, depending on where you’re from, haha), but the prices are totally worth it.

I went to Aldi just last week for my weekly shopping trip and stocked up on all kinds of fresh produce.  A head of lettuce for a $1.29, hass avocados for $0.49/each, a medium sized seedless watermelon for $3.19, a bag of onions for $0.79, a container of grape tomatoes for $0.59, and the list goes on and on.

I haven’t found anywhere that beats these prices, except for one place and that’s Presidente, another local grocery store in my area.  I don’t personally care for the feel of this store, but if saving money is on your mind and you want fresh from the farm produce, it may be the place for you.  The store has weekly sales and sometimes you can get 10 limes for $1.00, or 4 cucumbers for $1.00, or 4 pounds of bananas for a $1.00.  Where else can you beat those prices?!

5.  Rebate apps.

Last, but not least, after every grocery shopping trip I always check my phone rebate apps to see if there are any rebates for the fresh produce I just purchased.  Some of my favorite rebate apps include Ibotta, Checkout 51, MobiSave and Saving Star.  Ibotta, Checkout 51 and Saving Star always have some sort of fresh produce rebates every week, and occasionally MobiSave does also.  The rebates may be small (typically $0.25), but it adds up pretty fast.

There's no need to empty your wallet to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables. Check out these 5 ways to save money on fresh produce!

Whether you grow your own garden, shop at a local farmer’s market, flea market or small grocery stores, or you use rebate apps, there’s definitely room for saving money on fresh produce.

Just do some asking around to see if there’s a location in your area that maybe you aren’t familiar with, but may have some great prices on fresh produce.  It never hurts to try some place new.  In fact, this is how I found my local farmer’s market store.  I actually went to Google maps and simply typed in farmer’s market, and voila!  Visiting became part of my to-do list and it turned out to be a good find.

How do you save money on fresh produce?

Making Time for Dad: Amazon Father’s Day Finds Under $50

Making Time for Dad: Amazon Father's Day Finds Under $50

Father’s Day is probably the hardest holiday for me when it comes to gift giving.  I typically do something special with the kids to give to dad, but sometimes I like to give my boyfriend something he’d really like or needs, in addition to that.

He doesn’t fit the cliche handyman or white collar father stereotype that surrounds Father’s Day, either.  And besides, how many tools and ties does one man need?  How about we think outside the box for a bit?

It may seem like a no-brainer, but I’ve finally figured out that the easiest way to go about gift giving for a father is to really think about what he enjoys.  My boyfriend is very giving and literally never asks for anything for himself.  So it’s not like I have something planned because two months ago he mentioned a certain something he wants.  Yeah, I’m not that lucky, haha.

So for me, it comes down to observation.  What does he like to do?  Does dad like to play video games?  Watch movies?  Listen to music?  Attend sporting events or even partake in sporting events?

In light of not having a stereotypical dad to buy for this Father’s Day, I’ve taken to my favorite online shopping site – Amazon – and found some pretty cool Father’s Day gifts for different kinds of dads, and everything is under $50!  You won’t find gifts for a handyman or businessman here, but maybe you will find something that’s fitting for the dad in your life.

Dad, The Traveler

Does dad do a lot of traveling, whether for business or leisure?  These days it’s hard to disconnect from our electronics, so if he’s an avid traveler, he probably takes his laptop with him wherever he’s traveling to.  So how about a new computer bag for his laptop?

If dad is a messenger bag type of guy, the Ibagbar Messenger Bag is a great fit at just $29.99.  Or if dad is more of a backpack kind of guy, the Lapacker Shockproof Backpack may be a better fit at $42.99.  Both are very stylish and come in a variety of colors.

Dad, The Strong Man

Is dad really into fitness or trying to be?  Give him something to keep his good habit going.  Maybe some new (heavier, haha) dumbbells or a medicine ball will do the trick.

The CAP Barbell 40 pound Adjustable Dumbbell Set is just what the doctor ordered and it’s affordable at $39.99.  Or maybe he’d better enjoy a Body-Solid Tools Dual Grip Medicine Ball.  The ball weights vary from 6 pounds to 20 pounds and price starts at $39.00.

Dad, The Music Mogul

Maybe dad’s a little bit country or a little bit rock-n-roll.  Around here, the genre of choice is hip hop.  Regardless of what type of music dad likes, could he use a new pair of earphones?

If dad prefers the in-ear type, these Symphonized NRG 2.0 Genuine Wood Noise-Isolating Earbuds at $25.99 are right on point.  On the other hand, if dad prefers the over-ear type, these Skullcandy Headphones with Mic are pretty sleek and just $36.97.

Dad, The Movie Buff

Does dad enjoy sitting down to a good movie?  Give him a gift he can enjoy over and over.  Whether you want to give him something that’s more for him to personally enjoy, or you want to show how much you care by hosting a family movie night with dad as the special guest, there are tons of movies to choose from on Amazon.

More recent movies start around $14.96 depending on the type of media you have, but older movies are cheaper.  Pick up some popcorn or dad’s favorite snack and beverage, and throw in a good movie and you’re all set!

Dad, The Video Gamer

Is dad attached to his PS4, or used to be?  Maybe it’s time for a new game.  Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is a favorite around here, and with tons of action and excitement dad is sure to enjoy it.  Plus, it’s three different adventures all in one at $35.86.

If you’re not really sure what type of game to get dad, you could always get him a charger dock for his controllers.  This Pecham PS4 Dual Charger Dock saves space and even comes with joystick grips for the controllers.  At just $10.99 it’s a great deal for everyone.

Dad, The Sports Tailgater

Does dad attend every single home game in the area and tailgate beforehand?  Whether it’s soccer, football, or anything else, any tailgater knows you need good food and drinks.  What’s better than some freshly grilled burgers and dogs, and some nice cold beverages before a big game?

For $22.97, this Cuisinart 14″ Portable Charcoal Grill is perfect for tailgating and getting those nice smoky burgers and dogs.  Or even this Tailgaterz Cool-N-Carry Cooler for $25.95 will keep supplies handy and the beverages nice and cold.

If you still can’t figure out what dad might like for Father’s Day, you can always go with the usual.  For me, that’s a new pair of sneakers.  The man has more shoes than I do, but that’s just who is.  He’ll take a new pair of sneakers any day.

Regardless of what you do or don’t get him, don’t leave dad hanging this Father’s Day.  Take the time to show your love and appreciation for the dad(s) in your life.
